On Sunday I had the pleasure of seeing legendary garage band The Sonics at the Norton Records anniversary party. Though nowadays they look like a group of dads, high-school principals, and congressmen, they still totally shred! Unfortunately it’s impossible to find live footage of them playing in their heyday, so I’m setting the Time Machine coordinates for Tacoma, 1964….
